Suggestion
Hi,I noticed you have a Black Marriage Day event. I hope you might consider a workshop on interracial relationships. There is a very special set of stressors and "rules" and issues we have to deal with, because of society. Often, my partner and I don't know how to deal with it and it leads to major fights. But we love each other deeply. A workshop on how to handle these delicate and intricate matters would help many people immensely. Thanks! Michelle, Tampa
RE: Suggestion
Hello Michelle,
Thank you for your suggestion. While we do not have anything specifically for interracial couples at the moment, I would like to suggest attending one of our workshops and/or retreats to learn strategies that strengthen the foundation of relationships and I would also like to suggest speaking with one of our private educators to talk one on one about the specific stressors you and your partner are facing. If you would like to discuss further, please call me directly at 727.528.5777.
Thank you,
Carol

Spanish Programs
Greetings! I commend you for your programs and services. May I ask, do you offer services in Spanish? Are there programs for the Hispanic community?Thank you.Saul
RE: Spanish Programs
Hello Saul,
Sorry about the delay in response. Yes, we have done workshops in the Hispanic community, specifically with the Hispanic Outreach Center in Clearwater. If you have a group that is interested, we can set something up for you. If it is just you, that is great as well. You can join our mailing list (see to the left) and I will notify you when the next class is formed.

Couples retreat 01/23-01/24-10
We can't begin to tell you how grateful we are for the opurtunity to spend this weekend with your organization. There is so much negative talk about divorce, children raising children and couples living single minded lives. How do we teach parents to be parents withot these kinds of support systems. How do we teach couples to learn to stick it out without these kinds of support systems. WE NEED THESE POSITIVE GROUPS TO NUTURE POSITIVE FAMLIES. Thank you for the oppurtunity. Couple's Retreat at the Don Ce Sar
WOW...we had the blessing of attending the Couple's Retreat this weekend...Jan 23-24! It was AMAZING and the price was even more amazing. Not only did we fall in love all over again, we met some great people, learned SO many wonderful tools to help grow our relationship and we stayed at this gorgeous hotel. I applaud the speakers and the wonderful staff of Family Resources. What a TRUE TRUE blessing these people are and this program is. Thank you!
2nd marriages
Do you ever have meetings for seniors who have married after the loss of their spouse?
RE: 2nd Marriages
We have quite a few widows and widowers that take our How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk(ette) workshop.
rediscovering you workshop 7/17/10
Thank you for the workshop. Michael is an excellent speaker & workshop leader. I am an RN & attended a similar workshop 2yrs ago. I found it very helpful so I asked friends to join me this time. We made vision boards both times. I have refered to my original board almost daily.Tthis time it was more difficult due to the fact that the magazines are old & have be cut up so much. Newer & more variety would be very helpful for the process. The vision boards ARE important. reminders to keep one focused. Perhaps a few doctors offices or womans gruop would donate their old ones.I also felt too much tome was spent on domestic violence. You provide a fantastic service. I will continue to refer to you a check your calendar.
